We welcome pitches that help readers make a thoughtful match between an activity and the time, company, interests or setting they have. A strong contribution offers a distinct idea, explains its limits and gives readers something they can consider without a pile of special equipment or expertise.

What to pitch

We are interested in original explainers, comparisons, background pieces, myth-checks and occasion-based planning. Choose one clear question and make the article's main idea different from what we have already covered. We do not seek promotional copy disguised as editorial.

Make the idea specific

Tell us who the piece is for, what it will help them decide or notice, and why the subject suits Active Match Review. Include a proposed title, a short outline and any relevant experience or sources you plan to draw on. Do not send a full draft unless we ask for one.
